The world’s leading salon brand, Great Clips is a 100% franchised company with more than 4,400 hair salons across the U.S. and Canada. It needed to rethink, redesign, and replatform to ensure every touchpoint across the brand’s digital ecosystem would make online check-in easy, drive salon visits, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and consistently position Great Clips as the most convenient salon to get a haircut that fits your hair, your lifestyle and your look from any stylist, every time.

Harnessing the power of Applied Game Theory™ (AGT), Dragon Army’s proprietary engagement framework, we identified key opportunities to delight, motivate, and educate customers — all with the aim of increasing online check-ins, driving salon visits, inspiring repeat business, and building brand loyalty. Employing these same mechanics, we organized, wrote, designed, and developed a fast, easy-to-use, responsive website that works across every device and environment. Finally, we identified, assessed, and engaged the ideal partner for replatforming dotCMS, a headless CMS that provides the flexibility, scalability, and security.
